SAATA Membership

Membership Area
Membership in SAATA is open only to citizens of the South Asian Nations including the Middle East Countries.

Membership Who is eligibile? AMF (INR)
Certified
  • Certified Transactional Analysts (CTA)
  • Provisional Teaching and/or Supervising Transactional Analysts (PTSTA)
  • Teaching and/or Supervising Transactional Analysts (TSTA)

Trainee
  • Advanced trainees in Transactional Analysis with a trainer who is a member of SAATA

Life members
Certified Members would become a Life Member by making a one-time payment of the annual dues for ten years. Life membership is valid for a period of 15 years.

Life members:
Certified Members and Regular Members would be entitled to become a Life Member by making a one-time payment of the annual dues for ten years.

Membership Admission
Admission to membership in various categories mentioned above shall be approved by the Executive Council of SAATA.

Membership Fees
The Executive Council of SAATA will, from time to time, determine the admission and membership fees of various categories of membership.

Membership Rights
Certified Members and Regular Members shall have the right to participate in the meeting of the general body.

Cessation of Membership
Any Certified/Regular/Trainee Member shall cease to be on the rolls of SAATA by writing a letter addressed to that effect to the President. He/She will also cease to be on the rolls if he/she fails to pay his /her annual dues. However, such defaulting members may be reinstated on submitting a fresh application and payment of arrears/dues to SAATA, plus readmission fee, if any.

Membership Termination

Certified/Regular/Trainee Member may be suspended or terminated from the rolls of SAATA, if in the judgment of the Executive Council, he/she is found guilty of conduct detrimental to the best interests of SAATA. The President shall, however, give an opportunity to the person concerned to explain the charges leveled against him/her. The Executive Council of SAATA shall have the final authority to make such a judgment.
