Rosemary Kurian took over as the Managing Editor of SAJTA. She leads a fairly large team of editors who are also performing other roles to enhance the growth of SAJTA.
Shobana Jayaraman and Abhijeet Punde take over TA Thursdays, where each month a SAJTA author will present their article to a larger community. This endeavour is to not just celebrate authors and gain visibility for SAJTA but also to engage the community.
Nikita Bandale and Vaaruni Sunder take over the organization of research and writing workshops for the community. They will also focus their efforts on getting ISSN registration for SAJTA.
Rosemary Kurian, Gunjan Zutshi and Asha Raghavan take charge of building skills in the editorial team and upholding standards for the journal.
Shibani Mishra and Haider Jasdan joined Madhulika Rao and Asha Raghavan in the newsletter team, making it a vibrant team of four.
On March 25th, we had a meeting of the publications team – both SAJTA and the Newsletter – and we decided to work in a more seamless way, and also collaborate more with the development team. The desire of this team to make a difference to SAATA was very palpable. The fresh energy recharged everyone who participated. With such an enthusiastic team with great plans, we look forward to a lot of action from the publications team.
